Investigation Launched Following Death of 58-Year-Old Woman

Murder Investigation Initiated After 58-Year-Old Woman’s Demise in Kingstone, Hereford

Emergency services responded to an incident at an address on Cotton Meadows at approximately 5.10pm yesterday (Saturday, August 5th).

Tragically, the woman was transported to a hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

In connection with the incident, a 58-year-old man has been apprehended on suspicion of murder.

Detective Chief Inspector Gareth Lougher conveyed, “Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family of the deceased woman. We recognize the distress such events can cause, but we want to assure the local community that there is no broader threat to public safety. Our officers are actively present at the location, and you might notice an increased police presence in the vicinity in the upcoming days as our inquiry progresses.”
